Musical Experience

I come from a long line of musical families and have played piano for more than 40 years. Music has always and will always be part of our everyday life; my family is a bit piano crazed, presently owning eight pianos between us. I started piano at a very early age beginning with private lessons and ended up studying piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

 Piano Tuning and Repair Qualifications

I studied and graduated with “Highest Honours” from the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology, which has enabled me to combine my passion for the piano with a rewarding career as a Piano Technician. The Randy Potter School boasts to be the largest school in the world training qualified Piano Technicians for over thirty years with students and graduates in over 70 countries. The training was very comprehensive with detailed study in piano tuning, piano repair, piano regulating and piano voicing.

Piano Technicians Guild

I am an Associate Member of the Piano Technicians Guild and regularly attend conferences, seminars and meetings to keep updating my skills and refining new techniques. Being a member of the largest Piano Technicians Guild in the world is a huge benefit to me and to all my customers. Typically in most industries skilled tradesmen keep their “trade secrets” to themselves, but this is not so with the Piano Technicians Guild. The whole purpose of the guild is to share the knowledge and constantly train and update its members with the most advanced ideas in Piano Technology, offering the total sum of their members’ knowledge. I live in Oakville Ontario with my wife Sheila.
